HarrimanSteel is an independent creative agency founded in 1999, based in Amsterdam and London.
For Intersport’s EMEA launch of the new season Nike Phantom Venom football boot, Harrimansteel created a unique, integrated campaign for the sporting goods giant by hosting the ‘Phantom Precision Challenge’ (PPC) online
and with select European clubs (NL/DE/ES) to pre-trial the product and share their experiences.
My role in this campaign focused on two main activities: CONTENT MANAGEMENT, by planning and
distributing campaign/product content to generate online submissions and raise consumer awareness.
And MONITORING, by tracking all online submissions for the PPC on Instagram and actively
monitoring the bespoke hashtags: #awakenthephantom and #intersportfootball.
We also partnered with global street football champion, Edward van Gils to host the PPC and further ask the
public to submit their own videos completing the challenge and that’s where my role in social listening for
the campaign came to the fore. From all the submissions, four players were selected to battle
it out for the final prize of a spot on Ronaldinho’s Global Street Team (GST).
