A CITY MADE BY PEOPLE
A City Made By People (ACMBP) is a global community of city enthusiasts who engage in online and offline experiences to learn, explore, and celebrate urban life.
Being a part of the team, my primary duties revolved around managing content for both ACMBP’s social media platforms and online/offline publications. My role required a significant amount of copywriting, which led me to realize that pursuing a career in writing was a natural fit for me.
In collaboration with ACMBP's founder, Robin Cox, I focused on marketing the company through various social media channels, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and a monthly newsletter distributed through MailChimp.
Additionally, I provided support in promoting the monthly speaker events hosted by ACMBP at Zoku Amsterdam. My efforts were geared towards maintaining an inspiring and engaging image for the company while reaching out to a wider audience in multiple cities where ACMBP’s local speaker events took place, like Amsterdam and Bucharest.
For Issue #3 I was commissioned to collaborate with a group of local writers for A City Made By People's print publication.
In my role as one of three editors, I provided guidance on article concepts and tone to ensure it aligned with the publication's vision.
My main responsibility was to proofread, approve, and give feedback on all articles before final publishing. It was a dream role at the start of my career as an aspiring copywriter, a professional project that required meticulous attention to detail.

MUSIC X FREEDOM EXPERIENCE
Made By People Lab and Miracles of Music came together to offer a stage to musicians in the living room-style space that is Sonos Home Amsterdam.
The event was designed to encourage musicians and artists to share their songs and personal stories about how music has positively impacted their lives.
PHOTOGRAPHY X MENTAL HEALTH
Along with UK’s the Photography Movement, Made By People Lab hosted a photography exhibition that delved into the subject of mental health.
The exhibition featured the works of 10 local photographers who shared their interpretations and experiences of mental health through a creative lens.
